I’m often asked what people can eat in between meals without ruining their appetite or putting on weight. Due to this, get ready to chow down every week on a new healthy and nutritious snack you can make yourself and have on the go. They’re packed with all the good stuff you might not be giving yourself enough of during your main meals. Don’t worry though, you’re not going to spend all day in the kitchen preparing these tasty goodies as they’re easy to make! Even I can make them!
Today we are going to kick things off with a breakfast smoothie! Where better to start than with the most important meal of the day. Here’s my mixed berry breakfast smoothie:
150g frozen mixed berries
250ml greek or natural yoghurt
250ml coconut milk
1 tsp chia seeds (ground or whole)
Add all of the ingredients to your blender and mix until smooth.
This will make enough for 2 servings or fill most water bottles to take to work!
High in Fibre, Protein, Omega 3, antioxidants, vitamins and much much more, this smoothie will have you ready to face the day head on.
